Company Leadership

Morris Consultant Services (MCS) has been serving the community since 1992.  The founder, Linda Morris-Avila, is a Community Organizational Specialist who has partnered with some of the area’s most promising independent contract workers.  

Linda Morris-Avila has dedicated her life to pursuing excellence and empowering people.  She received a degree from M.D.T.A. School of Business; Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Social Work.  She  is currently working towards a second Master’s Degree in Counseling.  

In addition, Linda has specialized training in the areas of Interpersonal Skills, Community Organizing and Effective Management.  Her background and business contacts separate her from other consultants, as there is no substitute for hands on experience.   

Linda’s community relations and organizational skills have provided her with the rare opportunity to travel in many diverse cultures and communities including Appalachian and Central America, Virgin Islands and West Africa.

Other civic involvement includes:

Chairperson, Commissioner for the Hamilton County Election Board

President, People United to Serve Humanity Women’s Board (P.U.S.H.)

Mayor Blue Ribbon Personal Committee, Community Relations Committee, Tennessee Coordinated Care Outreach Program.

Having been awarded 17 civic involvement awards such as the Humanitarian Award  and the Church and Community Service  Award, Meharry College Community Service awards, it is not difficult to understand why bringing people together is the most important part of this consulting firm.  Linda’s passion for community involvement has been fervently demonstrated.

The decision to bring together all of her passion and experience into Morris Consultant Services has proved the most fulfilling  accomplishment of all; providing her the platform to function as a community/business (services) liaison.
